I've been a practicing, solitary witch since around 2016 and dreaming of being a witch since I was around 4 or 5.
In the 8+ years since accepting what I was, I've studied varies aspects including herbalism, crystals, correspondences, holidays, tarot and various cultural deities. I'm very much an eclectic grey chaos witch from what I've gathered although I don't read too much into the labeling. I just do what feels right and natural at the time.
Which is how my small business started back in 2021. I liked making spell jars but wished I could keep them layered and not all mixed up and dusty so I put resin in them to seal it and used the color associated with whichever spell I was making. I wanted to be able to make spell charms and boosters this way and it worked out fairly well. I learned better ways over the years and I'm still constantly learning.
Creating The Broken Vial has made me study and learn even more of my craft as well as open me up to the possibility of owning my very own brick and mortar shop someday. It's allowed me to meet new people, help others with their own craft and get me outside of my comfort zone more than a few times. It's been a journey and I hope for it to continue to be one.
